The book, God on the Seashore is a novel venture, initiating the reader to a totally different realm of thought and reflection, presented in a simple and lucid manner, and yet profoundly enlightening, graphically impressive and indelibly striking. The author knowledgeably and confidently leads his readers to the fishermen's sacrosanct domain, the sea, which he vows in his very world, his life and living. Most Rev. Dr. Soosa Pakiam M |
This book initiates the reader to the basic concepts, tenets, values, and standpoints of 'fishing culture', by integrally exploring the Biblical vocabulary of fishing against its contemporary, cultural and historical background, leading the reader to the person and teaching of Jesus and climaxing in the theological interpretation of the eschatological dimension of the same.
