The (Latin) diocese of Trivandrum was established by His Holiness Pope Pius XI on July 1, 1937 through the Bull 'In Ora Malaba- rica'. On 14th June, 1996, a new Archdiocese by name Neyyattinkara was created out of the Archdiocese of Trivandrum by His Holiness Pope John Paul II through the Apostolic Bull 'Ad Aptius Provehendum'. This diocese was made into an Archdiocese on 17 June 2004 by His Holinesss Pope John Paul II.

Easter Celebrations

Easter cellebrations has started by the Mid night Mass at St.Joseph’s cathederal Palyalam by Archbiosh Dr. Soosai Pakium.

Preistly Ordination

11 decans were ordianed as preist at sacred ceremony held at St Joseph School Auditorium. 1000’s have gathed to pray for the new priests and they were recived into the serivece of the chruch.
