The ordination of two deacons to the sacred orderswill be held on 14th of August at 3.00 pm, in St. Joseph's metropolitan Cathedral. His Grace Archbishop Soosapakiam will be the main celebrant of the ordinarion.  Dn. Carvin and Dn. Ajith are getting ordained. A brief life story of them.

Deacon Jim Carvin Roach hails from St.Mary’s church Vallavilai, born on 4 th October 1988. He is the
third son of Mr.Maria Xavier and Mrs. Bellamma. He has joined in the seminary on 2009, after
completing his bachelor degree. After two years of minor seminary formation. He has done his
philosophical studies at St.Joseph’s pontifical seminary Alwaye and did his regency at Arch Diocese
Minor Seminary, sasthavattom, after that he has gone to Rome (International college of Maria Mater
ecclesiae) for theological studies. Now he is doing his diaconate ministry at St.Antony’s church
Njandoorkonam and Diocesan family Ministry.

Deacon Ajith, son of Antony and Marit, from St. Mathew’s parish, South Kollemcode, born on 16.06.1990.
He has three younger sisters and one brother. After schooling, joined the seminary in 2006. During the stay in the minor seminary
(Vianney Bhavan and st. Vincent minor seminary)he has obtained bachelor degree in sociology. In 2010 he
was sent to St. Peter’s Pontifical seminary, Bangalore for philosophical studies. Having completed studies in St. Peter’s, he remained in the diocese for one year by doing various services in the diocese,
and in st. Antony’s parish Karakkamandapam. In 2013, he was sent to Pontifical Collegio Urbano, Rome, for theological studies. He
continued to do licenciate in biblical theology there in Rome. In 28 April 2018, he was ordained deacon.

Brother Taison from Mungode will be ordained as deacon in the same ceremony. 

 Bro. Taison Titus, Son of Titus and Shailaja from St. Sebastian’s parish, moongode, born on 20-05-1989. He is the second child in his family, has an elder brother and younger sister. After completing S.S.L.C he has joined minor seminary in 2004. In St. Vincent’s seminary, Menamkulam. he has done +2 and Bachelor studies (sociology). After finishing 6 years of minor seminary life was send to Morning Star College, Kolkatta to pursue Philosophical studies. After obtaining B.ph he has done one year rejency in St. Vincent’s minor seminary. After completing regency, he has been sent to The Netherlands to do theological studies. There he also now extends our missionary helping hand to the diocese of Roermond in the Netherland.
